We believe it is our personal obligation and mission to help as many horses in need as we are physically, emotionally, and financially capable to help. We are looking to raise money to expand our stables to continue saving abandoned and abused horses, as well as feed them.

It all started when we were just out looking around for another horse to add to our 3 that we already had. We started going to auctions and seeing these poor skinny horses of all ages and sizes in a single pen all squashed together and we had no idea what this was about. We watched most of the horses go through the auctions, but the prices were too high. The skinny horses were apparently going last, and we had to get going, so we left. We did some research and found a friend with Jenny at 2nd Chance Horse Rescue in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, and she explained the pen with the skinny horses. They were in the “kill pen”. Horse breeders selling horses to slaughter for pennies to a pound. We were outraged! I cry if I run a wild rodent over accidentally with my truck and these people are killing horses? We were shocked at what we were seeing and hearing. Now we eat, sleep, breath and do anthing we can to save these poor horses that have done nothing to deserve this treatment they have been getting.
